Janet & Mark Schneider

After the loss of our 3 children, we found ourselves on the doorstep of Share. Mark & Janet Schneider buried twin sons Cameron & Conner born too early at eighteen weeks, and a daughter Jordan Danielle born still at 36 weeks due to a blood disorder. It has been 7 years since our first loss, we thought we would never have happiness in our lives. With the help of Share, from the wonderful staff to the families we met, we found the courage to find that happiness with the adoption of our son Dominic, who will be 6 this April.

It is very rewarding to give something back in memory of our children. Janet sits on the Share Development Committee and is a companion; trained to assist parents who have experienced their own loss. In 2006, Janet chaired a Trivia Night with 2 other Share companions. The event raised $9,000 for Share. Mark helped fill 12 tables with family and friends, to help make the evening the big success it turned out to be. Share makes it possible for us to remember our children Cameron, Conner, and Jordan, who we hold in our hearts until we can hold them in our arms again.
