Brandy Antonio - Newsletter Editor/Website Support
Brandy began working at Share in the summer of 2006 as Newsletter Editor and Website Support. She creates each edition of Sharing with staff, professionals, and bereaved parent submissions, and also researches for current topics and information. Brandy also helps update the website and literature with the most recent information about Share and grief issues.
Brandy came to Share in 1998 when her first daughter, Madeline, was stillborn at 32 weeks due to a clotting disorder. It was with the support of Share that she was able to heal emotionally and spiritually. She began volunteering and helping with events over the years, and has been a part of the Share Companion Program since 2003, helping families before, during or following the time of their loss. She has worked with the Share Walk Committee since 2005, and continues to volunteer with the staff and for events.
Brandy, a former teacher, graduated from University of Missouri with her Bachelor of Science in Education. She is the Director of Children's Ministries at her church, and she currently lives in Wentzville with her husband, Chris, and three subsequent children, Nikolos, born in 1999, Jonothon, born in 2000, and Isabel, born in 2002. Chris has previously volunteered with Share, and now supports Brandy in her efforts working with the office and bereaved families.
